What do you do when one of your best friends has a baby during a pandemic? You force her to come out of her house for a photoshoot, of course!
Jen and I have been friends for years. I can’t even tell you how many times we have talked about having babies, so it would only make sense that Jen would be due right at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Eliana was born on her due date, March 16th, literally three days after school closed and one week after Jen went on maternity leave. We had been planning her entire pregnancy to get super cute photos of the baby when she was born; you know, wearing bunny hats and laying on her puppy brothers. And then BOOM! Coronavirus hit and put a huge wrench into that plan. Unfortunately we have no “professional” newborn pictures, but I was able to get Jen out of the house for an hour to go to her favorite place, to take some photos with her favorite person.
Eliana is literally the cutest (go on, try arguing with me)! She is the happiest baby and would smile any time I would start talking to her. She was in awe of the ocean and absolutely loved putting her toes in the sand. You are going to do big things little girl, just like your mommy. I can’t wait to watch you grow!
